- Shared objective:
- Observation:
- Concern:
- Impact:
- Alternative or test:
I agree that reducing the number of experiments is important. However, the current dataset contains only two samples in the high-temperature region. My concern is that the proposed model may not reliably predict performance under the intended operating conditions. I suggest adding a small validation set in that region before we use the model for candidate selection.

Subject: Technical concern regarding the proposed validation plan
Dear team,
Thank you for sharing the proposed validation plan. I agree with the objective of completing candidate selection within the current timeline.
I would like to raise one technical concern. The proposed plan evaluates durability using a single batch, while our previous results showed substantial batch-to-batch variation. As a result, the test may not distinguish candidate performance from preparation variability.
I recommend testing the two leading candidates across three independently prepared batches. This would require approximately one additional week but would provide a more reliable basis for the scale-up decision.
If maintaining the current schedule is essential, an alternative would be to test two batches now and treat the selection as provisional until the third batch is completed.
I would be happy to discuss the trade-off and help revise the test plan.
Best regards,
Thank you for the proposal. I support the overall objective, but I do not recommend using the current model as the sole basis for candidate selection. Its performance has not yet been evaluated on a separate material family, and the present test score may therefore be optimistic. I suggest adding a grouped validation before the final decision.

I agree that Candidate A has the highest initial performance. However, its batch-to-batch variation is twice that of Candidate B, and the current process window is narrower. My concern is that selecting Candidate A now would increase scale-up risk. I recommend one additional reproducibility test and a multi-criteria comparison before the final decision.
I support the goal of moving to pilot testing this quarter, but I do not recommend using the current durability result as the final go/no-go criterion. The result is based on one batch, and our previous study showed meaningful batch variation. In addition, the test duration covers only one-third of the intended service period.
The risk is that we could select a candidate whose initial performance is high but whose long-term behavior is unstable. A practical alternative is to begin a limited pilot preparation while running two additional durability tests in parallel. This would preserve most of the schedule advantage while providing a stronger basis for the final scale-up decision.
I would like the meeting record to reflect that I do not concur with proceeding under the proposed operating condition. The temperature exceeds the validated limit by 15 degrees Celsius, and no data are currently available for the identified failure mode. My recommendation is to complete the thermal-risk assessment before operation. If the decision is to proceed, the assumption, risk owner, mitigation action, and stop criteria should be documented.

Subject: Summary of technical discussion and agreed actions
Dear all,
Thank you for today’s discussion. My understanding is as follows:
- We agree on the target performance and the need to maintain the current development timeline.
- We have different assessments of whether the current durability evidence is sufficient for candidate selection.
- The main unresolved point is batch-to-batch reproducibility.
- We agreed to test two additional batches and review the results on November 12.
- The candidate decision will remain provisional until that review.
Please let me know if this summary does not accurately reflect the discussion.
Best regards,

Shared objective: I agree that our priority is to ______.
Observation: However, the current data show that ______.
Concern: My concern is that ______.
Impact: This could affect ______.
Recommendation: I recommend that we ______.
Decision criterion: We could proceed if ______.
Invitation: I would welcome your view on this alternative.
完成例
I agree that our priority is to select a candidate this month. However, the current data show that the leading candidate has been tested in only one production batch. My concern is that the observed advantage may include batch-specific variation. This could affect the reliability of the scale-up decision. I recommend testing one additional batch for each of the top two candidates. We could proceed if Candidate A maintains at least a 10% advantage under the predefined acceptance criteria. I would welcome your view on this alternative.
